Strategy "Patient and Strong"

This strategy scales slowly.

It is best for you if:

• You are OK to wait a few days or even a week for a trade to be closed.
• You prefer smaller position sizes sizes to fight the drowdown.
• Your broker offers a leverage below 1:500.
• You like to hedge manually from time to time to further smooth the growth.
• You have a monitored server (VPS) running your trading operations 24/7 (similar to our "President" Pakcage)

In order to reduce the drawdown, this strategy uses the very effective "Risk Cleaner" technique. It closes last largest positions and keeps the exposure risk low even if the price moves against us.

After that cleaning step, the algorithm waits for the price to move up where it can close the remaining position.

If the price moves below the most recent (closed) position, the algorithm activates the scaling again but continues with the small lot sizes. After a while it closes all positions. See the image below for an example.

The duration of that trade was 70 hours.

How does it compare to the original strategy?

The original strategy is more aggressive. It is great to make quick profits but requires more margin. The same trade as shown before, would look with the original strategy like this:
